A few things we flag up front so scope is clear: we design and build the landscape itself. Swimming pool construction is not a service we provide, though we design and build around a new or existing pool. Where a project needs a city permit, the homeowner or developer is the permit applicant; we prepare the drawings and flag what is required. Anything outside our scope, we will tell you plainly rather than stretch to cover it.

The Two Things That Decide Whether a New Landscape Thrives
If you learn only two things before hiring anyone to design and build a landscape in the Valley, learn these. Both are buried under the finished yard, so a homeowner never sees them until the plants and hardscape either thrive or start to struggle a year or two in.
First, the soil and grade. Most of the Central Valley sits on heavy clay and hardpan that drains slowly and can hold water right around plant roots. A landscape built on unprepared ground puddles after irrigation, settles unevenly, and stresses plants no matter how good the design looks on paper. We amend and prepare the soil and shape the grade, so water moves away from the house and off the root zone before anything is planted or paved. It rarely shows up on a walk-through, and it is the single thing that most decides whether the yard is thriving or struggling by year two.
Second, drainage and irrigation working together. A Valley landscape has to survive both long dry heat and the occasional heavy rain, so it needs water delivered efficiently to plants and moved away from where it pools. We design drip irrigation and smart controllers to match the plant palette, and we build in drainage so a wet winter does not undo a summer of growth. Done right, the two systems keep the landscape healthy and the water bill reasonable. Done cheaply, you get overspray, runoff, dead spots, and a lawn of weeds where water collects.

How much does a custom landscape cost?
It depends on the size of the space and how much hardscape, masonry, and structure is involved. A water-wise planting refresh and a full backyard build are very different projects. After we see your yard, you get a clear, itemized estimate, and we help right-size the project to your budget.
How long does a project take?
A focused project can run a couple of weeks, while a large multi-trade transformation runs longer. We give you a realistic timeline with your estimate and keep you updated as the work moves.
Do you design drought-tolerant and water-wise landscapes?
Yes, and in the Valley it is one of the smartest things you can do. We design low-water landscapes with the right plant palette, efficient drip irrigation, and options like artificial turf that stay green without a big water bill.
Do you offer 3D renderings?
Not at this time. We shape your project with an in-person design walk-through and clear plans. If that changes, we will update this page.
Do you handle HOA and city permits or drawings?
Yes. When a project needs plans for an HOA or a city permit, we prepare those drawings as part of the design and tell you up front what approvals are required.
Can you work around an existing pool, patio, or mature trees?
Yes. We routinely design around pools, existing hardscape, and healthy mature plants, keeping what works and building the rest of the landscape to complement it.
Do you build outdoor kitchens, patios, and masonry too?
Yes. Outdoor kitchens, paver and concrete patios, retaining walls, and fire features are core work for us. We self-perform the masonry, hardscape, and finish and coordinate the gas and electrical through our licensed trade partners, which is what makes us a true design-build company rather than a planting crew.
Do you install irrigation and lighting?
Yes. Efficient irrigation and low-voltage landscape lighting are designed into the project and installed by our own team.
Will you maintain the landscape after it is built?
If you want it. We can keep your new landscape looking its best with seasonal maintenance, or hand it off to you with guidance on care.
